Wooden Bowls
When I finished reading this story, I thought it had such a great meaning to it. If I could relate it to C.A.R.E.S, it would be cooperation. At first, the son and the daughter in law could not cooperate with the grandfather, but then towards the end they learned how to cooperate with him. The son and the daughter in law had to realize that he was an old man and he was slowly falling apart. The son should have realized how much that could hurt his father. On the inside and the outside. But since the grandson told them he was making wooden bowls, the son and the daughter in law learned that cooperation is very important.
